The New iPad Screen is Too Resolutionary

The resolution on The New iPad is too high and unwarranted at this point in time and the near future.  Apple once again with market share is trying to push the industry in their direction.

Quoted from Apples web site, "so dense that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels when held at a normal distance".

Also, to show off the new screen, they show you the new and old screens side by side, which look equally the same, until you use the magnifying glass. A poor way to demo the new screen. But wait, how many users read books with the iPad of which the screen is too glossy and distracting apps such as Facebook and Twitter are a flick away. The Amazon Kindle Touch blows all iPads away in this department, including the "Revolutionary One".

As we speak there is no screen with a resolution of 2048x1536 to test the current and newly developed apps on as developers try to see their creations perform on the device. There is not even a monitor with the same resolution on the market.

Developers are scrambling to try and solve this major resolution issue as the current crop of apps will look fuzzy on The New iPad.

So far, heat buildup, battery life, no SD slot, and few Hi Rez apps are issues.

The 16GB will fill up quickly as the extra resolution size in app and web data will chew up 16GB quickly.

There are even reports the screens are very difficult to produce at high volumes. Time will tell after the first batch gets delivered as high volume production ramps up.
