Iphone 5 - Not as Exciting, Maps and Possible Supply Issues

Well, the much anticipated Iphone 5 has been released.  From what we all see its longer. A nice amount of new and improved. There is also some "just don't feel excited about it" feedback from the 20 somethings. Win8 Phone seems to peek interests more.

Can it be that there's much cooler and more advanced hardware out the such as the Nokia 920 about to be released.

Already there is grumblings about the new maps feature. No walking feature and no public transit. That is a deal breaker for certain city dwellers and visitors. Its hurts when the customer is caught between  two tech titans and the customers productivity suffers.

Tyr Nokia. Even Nokia has a nice Transit app for their phones.

First week: 5 million iphone 5's sold.
Friday 9/28: Tim Cook apologizes for maps fiasco. Says " use Bing and Nokia Maps"
First Weekend: Falls short of 8 million units sold - possible supply issues, possible yawn factor,
