Ever want to stop updating from WSUS

If your SBS Server is running out of storage, you can change where updates are requested and downloaded. This will allow each computer to download its own updates instead of the WSUS central repository on the server.

In SBS 2011 or similar, just go to the WSUS admin Console

Click on the Update Files and Languages Link in the console

Change the files from STORING LOCALLY ON THE SERVER to

DO NOT STORE FILES LOCALLY -  COMPUTERS UPDATE FROM MICROSOFT UPDATE

Reboot and you should be back to the suck it all down from the internet updates.

If you have a good size network, WSUS is a good concept and cuts down on excessive internet downloading.
