Windows 8 Server Side VPN Client Connection Issue

Having a problem trying to connect to Windows SBS 2011 Essentials or Windows 2012 Server Essentials with a server side VPN setup. Error 691 or Error 806 on your client PC.

Network & Sharing Center, Change Adapter Settings
Right Click on your VPN Connection, Edit
Click your Security Tab, set Data Encryption to OPTIONAL.
Click Allow These Protocols Radio Button, and then click OK.
You should be able to connect now.
This is not an issue in Windows 7.

We also see after creating the VPN connection, you need to o in and click the radio button for EAP under the SECURITY
